Install Service

Install zapret as Windows service. Choose a bypass strategy (ALT 7 or ALT 10 recommended).

Remove Services

Stop and remove zapret service and WinDivert driver.

Check Status

Check if zapret service and winws.exe are running.

Run Diagnostics

Check for conflicts with Adguard, VPN, Killer services, and other software.

Check Updates

Check for new versions on GitHub.

Switch Game Filter

Enable/disable extended port filtering for games.

Switch ipset

Important! Set to "any" for Roblox to work. Filters all IPs through winws.exe.

Update ipset list

Download latest IP list from GitHub.

Installation Guide

Download and Extract

Download the latest version and extract the ZIP archive to a folder. The path must not contain spaces, Cyrillic characters, or special symbols.

Disable Antivirus (Temporarily)

Some antivirus software may block zapret. Before running, temporarily disable:

  • Windows Defender Real-time protection
  • Third-party antivirus (Kaspersky, Avast, etc.)

You can re-enable it after installation and add zapret folder to exclusions.

Run as Administrator

Find service.bat in the extracted folder. Right-click on it and select "Run as administrator".

If Windows SmartScreen appears, click "More info" → "Run anyway".

Configure ipset Mode

In the menu, press 7 to open "Switch ipset". Press 7 multiple times until you see (any) next to the option.

This is critical! Without "any" mode, Roblox bypass will NOT work.

Install Service

Press 1 to install the service. You will see a list of bypass strategies:

1. general (ALT).bat
2. general (ALT10).bat
3. general (ALT7).batRecommended
... and more

Enter the number of the strategy you want to use. Start with ALT 7. If it doesn't work, try ALT 10 or other options.

Verify Installation

After installation, press 3 (Check Status) to verify. You should see:

✓"zapret" service is RUNNING
✓Bypass (winws.exe) is ACTIVE

If you see these messages in green, the service is working correctly.

Test Roblox

Open Roblox and try to connect to a game. If everything works:

  • Website roblox.com loads normally
  • You can join games without "Connection Error"
  • Game loads and plays smoothly
Note: Chat and voice chat may not work on old accounts. Create a new account with VPN enabled if you need these features.

FAQ

What is Zapret Roblox?

Zapret Roblox is a free tool based on the zapret project that helps bypass Roblox access restrictions in Russia. It uses DPI (Deep Packet Inspection) bypass techniques to restore access to Roblox games.

Is it safe to use?

Yes, the project is open source and available on GitHub. You can review all the code yourself. It does not collect any personal data.

Chat and voice chat don't work. What to do?

Chat and voice chat may not work on accounts created before using the bypass. You need to create a new Roblox account with VPN enabled. After that, chat features will work on the new account.

Roblox still doesn't work after setup

Try these steps:

  • Make sure ipset is set to "any" (option 7)
  • Try a different bypass strategy (ALT 7, ALT 10, etc.)
  • Run diagnostics (option 4) to check for conflicts
  • Disable Adguard, VPN, or other filtering software
  • Check that Base Filtering Engine service is running
Which bypass strategy should I choose?

Start with general (ALT 7).bat - it works for most users. If it doesn't work, try general (ALT 10).bat. You can also try FAKE TLS options if standard ones don't work.

Error: "Service is already running"

First remove the existing service using option 2 "Remove Services", then install again with option 1.

Conflicts with other software

Zapret may conflict with:

  • Adguard - may cause Discord issues
  • Killer Network - conflicts with zapret
  • Intel Connectivity - conflicts with zapret
  • Check Point - conflicts with zapret
  • SmartByte - conflicts with zapret
  • VPNs - may conflict, disable when using zapret
  • GoodbyeDPI - conflicts, remove before using zapret
How to uninstall?

Run service.bat as administrator and choose option 2 "Remove Services". Then delete the zapret-roblox folder.
